During intense fieldwork, Dave Arnold and his students tracked the emergence of and public reaction to severe weather systems in Indiana and the midwest, capturing extensive video of tornados. Then the team produced a documentary, Tornado Alley: Back Home Again in Indiana, which explains how to prepare for and respond to severe weather. The documentary played on public television during Severe Weather Awareness Week in March 2005. Dave’s sponsors included the Delaware County Emergency Management Agency, the National Weather Service and WIPB-TV.
