Caleb Donahoe is a musician, singer, and actor studying Musical Theatre at Ball State University. He grew up in West Virginia, and he comes from a family of musicians and performers. Throughout his life as a performer, he has shared the stage with a bevy of artists, including: Chuck Compton, The Crabbe Family, Linda Davis, and Kenny Rogers. His family still performs when the opportunity arises, and they are active participants in community theatre in Huntington, WV. Caleb’s Ball State theatre credits include: Spring Awakening (Melchior), 42nd Street (Billy Lawlor), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Bailiff, Saint Matthew), and Guys & Dolls (Society Max). He can also occasionally be seen doing funny things with Ball State improv group Reflex. He has also worked professionally as an actor, appearing in such shows as: The Full Monty (Malcolm) Completely Hollywood…abridged (Dominic), Treasure Island (Squire Trelawney), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Gad/Baker), and the regional premiere of Hometown Anonymous (Jim/Others) with Festival 56 in Princeton, IL. He will return to Festival 56 this coming summer for their 11th season. Caleb is extremely thrilled and grateful to be a part of the The Liar’s Bench at the VBC, as it has provided him with the opportunity to discover, explore, and refine many avenues of creative output. He loves any opportunity to create art, especially with a group of people so incredibly passionate about creating something awesome. He can’t wait to see what this amazing group of artists will come up with.
