Brandy Drzymkowski is a sophomore Musical Theatre major at Ball State. She loves being involved in the creative process of new works. Her most memorable experience with original work was her involvement as a member of the cast of Ball State’s devised production of Frankenstein. Apart from performing, she is also passionate about writing plays and music, and plans to pursue a career as a performer and playwright after college. She is a scholarship student involved in the Honors College in addition to various organizations here at Ball State, including Alpha Psi Omega and the Ethnic Theatre Alliance. She is also a student coordinator for the Ball State Discovery New Musical Theatre Festival under the direction of Beth Turcotte. Brandy couldn’t be more thrilled to play a part in the creation of The Liar’s Bench, and would like to thank the Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry and everyone involved for making this opportunity possible. She would also like to thank her parents and brother for always supporting her artistic endeavors when she is far from home.
